Cathy Chester
9/11/56 - 12/26/09
Cathy Chester acknowledges and credits others for their great work in coming together to create the Templar Tarot: the Journey deck based on the legends of the Knights Templar. However humble, it was Cathy who was instrumental in initiating, coordinating, collaborating, and literally seeing the project to completion.
Although, the initially established Friday, October 13, 2009 release date (a significant meaningful date to the Knights Templar), was not met because of print delays, the expanded tarot deck was officially released on November 27, 2009, just one month prior to Cathy’s untimely death on December 26, 2009.
Cathy had a belief in being led by a Higher Power, and perhaps it was through this higher power, she received her notable determination, perseverance, and understanding to accomplish this monumental task before her death. She left a legacy to fulfil a path for others (and in her own words) to seek, find, transform, and enlighten.
